what we provide

love.doctor is an AI service for emotional and relationship support. you can use it to talk through stuff in your love life, friendships, family, and anything else weighing on you. it's not therapy and not a medical service.

what you agree to

be at least 13.

love.doctor isn't for users under 13. if you're younger, please talk to a trusted adult instead.

this isn't a substitute for professional help.

nothing the AI says is medical, legal, or psychological advice. if something serious is going on — abuse, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, an eating disorder, a mental health crisis — please contact a real human (in the US: 988; for LGBTQ+ youth: trevor project at 1-866-488-7386; international: findahelpline.com).

don't use love.doctor to hurt other people.

that includes: harassing other users, spamming, scraping, attempting to extract our system prompts, generating content that could be used to harm someone (planning violence, doxxing, manipulating a person against their interests), or impersonating us.

be honest about who you are.

don't claim to be a different person, a clinician you're not, or someone underage if you're not.

what we agree to

• do our best to keep love.doctor available, helpful, and safe
• protect your privacy as described in the privacy policy
• be honest about what the service is and isn't
• respond to safety reports and bug reports
• tell you if we change anything important about how the service works

your content

the messages you type belong to you. we process them so the AI can respond, and we store them so you can come back to your conversation. we don't sell them, we don't train AI models on them, and we don't share them with anyone except as described in the privacy policy.

account & deletion

you can delete a single conversation any time. you can delete your whole account any time. once deleted, your data is removed from our active systems immediately and from backups within 30 days.

service changes

we may update, add, or remove features. we'll tell you about meaningful changes before they happen. we may also need to suspend service briefly for maintenance.

price

love.doctor is free to start. we may add a paid tier in the future for power users. if we do, the basics will stay free.

disclaimers

love.doctor is provided "as is." the AI sometimes gets things wrong. it doesn't know everything about your situation. always use your own judgment, and seek professional help when stakes are high. we're not liable for decisions you make based on what the AI says.

termination

you can stop using love.doctor any time. we can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms — particularly the parts about not using the service to hurt other people.

governing law

these terms are governed by the laws of [TO BE FILLED IN BY OPERATOR]. disputes go to the courts of [TO BE FILLED IN BY OPERATOR]. if you're a consumer in a jurisdiction with stronger protections, those still apply.

changes to these terms

if we change these terms in any meaningful way, we'll tell you the next time you open love.doctor. no quiet midnight rewrites.
