love.doctor — brand kit.

everything you need to write about us, embed us, or partner with us. take what you need. ask if you need more.

the name

the name is always lowercase: love.doctor. not "Love Doctor", not "LoveDoctor", not "love doctor". the dot is part of the name — it matches the domain, and it's the small thing that makes the word feel specific instead of generic.

when in doubt, look at the URL bar. that's the spelling.

the mark

a pink rounded rectangle with a cream heart. nothing else. it should feel a little soft, a little warm, and unmistakably ours.

the palette

dark by default. pink does the heavy lifting. the accents are loud on purpose — this isn't a wellness app that wants to disappear into the background.

typography

three faces. they do specific jobs and don't trade places.

Inter — 400 / 500 / 600 / 700 / 800
UI, body, and headings live here.

the workhorse. everything readable on a screen — paragraph text, buttons, nav, headlines.

Instrument Serif — regular + italic
for the soft parts.

used italic, in pink, for the emphasis word inside a headline. small doses. never for body copy.

Caveat — 500 / 600 / 700
← like a margin note.

handwritten notes only — the little remarks in the margin that look like someone scribbled them in. used sparingly.

voice

lowercase by default. capitals for names and the rare moment a word needs the weight. we listen before we guide, and we reflect before we suggest. specific, not abstract — we'd rather say "the text you reread four times before sending it" than "anxious communication patterns."

never preachy. never clinical. never "as an AI." we hold complexity, which means we don't take sides against an absent person we've never met. two or three short paragraphs is usually the right reply length. when it's longer than that, we're probably doing too much.

some lines that sound like us:

"that sounds less like 'am i overreacting' and more like 'i'm tired of having to translate everything they do.' which one is it tonight?"
"you don't have to know what you want yet. you just have to notice you don't, and stop pretending you do."
"a situationship asks you to manage feelings that real relationships have, with none of the certainty real relationships have. that's exhausting. you're not crazy for feeling crazy."

don'ts

  • don't render the name with capital letters.
  • don't recolor the mark.
  • don't put the mark on a busy background — it needs breathing room.
  • don't make it feel like a generic wellness app. we're warmer, more specific, and a little weirder than that.
